Short Refinance - Loan Modification Forum

I currently have an interest only arm through First Franklin. I am current and my rate is due to adjust in August. They have advised me now that they are offering a short refinance. Has anyone had any luck with this or even heard of it?
I currently mitigate for a home counseling company and this is the first I have heard of a Short Refi.

I figured that..... I just thought it was a possibility as the lender is the one offerring the refi. I have been approved for a loan, but it is about $6000-$8000 less than what I owe. What are your thoughts

For that you will have get the approval from First Franklin.........only they can accept a lower payoff........
