Fedex question

This might be a silly question, but ....

Do you have to be at home to receive your Fedex package for trial modification?
Does one have to sign for it?

I am waiting for the Fedex from Aurora for the trial modification and want to make sure I am doing everything right.
Thanks for any response.

Re: Fedex question

The packages are usually left at the door, meaning they have a sender's release. However, if you are worried your carrier won't leave it, you can put a note on your door where you state "please leave fedex package.....sign it and date it". The driver can then take that as a signature.....(I used to be a manager with Fedex so I know what I'm talking about here.) Good luck!

Thank you so much!

I would have given up a long time ago if it was not for people like you and all the members at loansafe.org.

Re: Fedex question

No our package was left at the door...no signature required BUT signed for by Chase Rep on the return......if you track the package you return on line print the receipt that tells you when its delivered and who signed for it....just to cover yourself.........

Re: Fedex question

Hello this is FedexDolores here is a link that will explain our signature options FedEx Services - FedEx Products and Services - FedEx Services Tracking at FedEx.com. Also if no signature requirement is purchased and the pacakge is going to a residence then it will be released at the front door. I hope this information will alleviate any further questions on signature requirements. We hope you give us the opportunity to help you with your shipping needs. We appreciate your business and have a great day.

Re: Fedex question

In case you have not received your package yet, I received our package from Aurora and they do send it with no signature required. My wife was even home and Fedex simply left it at the door, rang the bell and took off.

So you should receive it just fine. You can also call Aurora as check up each week and they can tell you the tracking number once it is sent.
