Native - we must be on the same wavelength! I was just thinking about her, too! I haven't seen any posts from her in a while and I know what a hard time this has been for her. I really hope she is okay and responds to this.

Re: Melanie702--where are you?

I think she was really close to foreclosure last time she posted. Since I have ties in Vegas, she is near to my heart. I just posted an interesting article in the Vegas newspaper under the POST Articles, etc. thread. Same wavelength! You know that's womens intuition. Ah, intuition.

Re: Melanie702--where are you?

Hi guys! Thank you so much for thinking about me. I haven't been on here because I let this shit take over my life . You guys know how that is. I was stressing, and this board, BofA's website and NACA's website was all I thought about and looked up. I even lost lots of hours from work, LOL. SCREW BofA....sorry, had to say that.

Well, I think you know, the evil bank came back to NACA with a stupid offer, which is the exact same payment I'm paying now, but just added the late fees and the months behind that we are to the principal. I called Kevin Winn, and he basically said there was NOTHING they can do because of it being backed by Ginnie Mae, but for some reason, I don't believe that. I hear we were re-submitted for a Special Forbearance again. Not holding my breath, and I really, honestly, don't care anymore. Whatever happens, happens. I am just leaving it to NACA. If we have to move, then we have to move. If not, great! We're not in foreclosure......yet. But, in the sate of Nevada, they have some law, forgot the name of it, but it's some sort of mediation thing where you meet face to face with your lender, so if it comes down to foreclosure, we'll look into that. Anything to buy time to stay here as long as we can to save up some money.

How are you girls doing? I'm going to go through the threads to see if I can catch up with everyone.

Thanks again, guys!

Re: Melanie702--where are you?

Hi Melanie! Still no mod here, but I did get "pre-approved" for HAMP, now waiting for FedEx to come with a letter stating the trial payment amount, to be followed by the HAMP trial period plan and document requests. I'm starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel, just don't know how long the tunnel is! To quote you, "FREAKS"! I'm glad you popped in to say hi! Virtual hugs!

Re: Melanie702--where are you?

Hi Caldwell, thank you!! IT DID!!

AMA!!!! WOW! I'm soooooooo happy for you (((HUGS)))).....OMG, I'm so so so so happy you at least were pre-approved and are waiting for the package to come. That is great news. Did they already tell you what your payment would be? I hope you get it soon. . And, "freaks" is my favorite word, haha. Just glad to know more and more of us on here are getting something done, finally. I just checked my status on BofA and I guess NACA really did, resubmit our file, or just denied the mod they offered, but it had this .....
11/03/2009 Modification BANK STATEMENT
11/03/2009 Modification SETTLEMENT STATEMENT
11/03/2009 Modification FAX COVER SHEET
11/03/2009 Modification PAY STUB
11/03/2009 Modification PAY STUB
11/03/2009 Modification WORKOUT LETTER
11/03/2009 Modification VERIFICATION OF DEPOSITS/ASSETS
11/03/2009 Modification VERIFICATION OF EMPLOYMENT
11/03/2009 Modification CHECK/RECEIPT
11/03/2009 Modification TAX RETURN/FORM
11/03/2009 Modification LETTER OF EXPLANATION
11/03/2009 Modification BANK STATEMENT
11/03/2009 Modification TAX RETURN/FORM
11/03/2009 Modification PAY STUB
11/03/2009 Modification VERIFICATION OF EMPLOYMENT
11/03/2009 Modification VERIFICATION OF DEPOSITS/ASSETS
11/03/2009 Modification HAZARD INSURANCE OTHER
11/03/2009 Modification PAY STUB
11/03/2009 Modification WORKOUT LETTER

That's a whole lotta documents they listed, and it says modification, not an SB. I'm not going to stress ONCE about this. It's NACA's job to take care of it now

I've never seen such a huge list! Mine STILL says no documents received even though it is obvious that David K. has them... FREAKS...LOL!

I have no clue what that means either. They listed my HEMAP assistance loan as a modification agreement of which it is NOT.

Re: Melanie702--where are you?

It is really good to hear from you Melanie. I was worried. I too know the stress of this and took the weekend off.

Settlement Statement in a regular loan or refi is the document that states all the fees involved in the loan or refi. Can we hope that this "settlement statement" is a similar document that has been prepared regarding the "closing" of your NEW loan?

ama - I am at the same step in this process as you. My online status shows nothing under the documents and not to contact them until 10/21. When I talked to the employee I am working with at Skank last week he told me we were prequalified and the documents would be sent out the first of the week. I sent him an email yesterday that simply said in case you misplaced my address, my street address for fedex is ..... I thanked him for his time and ended with a smiley face. To me, the middle of the week is today at noon. I will wait until 12:01 pm to call him and ask him for the tracking number. Everytime I passed a Fedex truck yesterday I wanted to stop him and ask if he had something for me. I am so sick of this crap. I want my life back. I hope I am not getting jerked around once again.

MEL - Since Nevada was one of the hardest hit areas, I am wondering if your attorney general has taken notice of the new Supreme Court decision regarding the ability to sue the banks? Any chance you can contact the AG and send him a copy of the S.Ct. decision? The New York Times > Log In

Welcome home Mel. It's almost time to turn the lights out and go back to life.

Hi Mel,

I was wondering where you were too. I have not been on much either to much stress and I just can't deal with anymore. I just found out I am expecting so......Anyway me and you both have FHA and I was just told the same things. They offered me a MOD on friday and said it is the best the can do because Ginnie Mae will not allow anything else. They offered to put all the past due and late fees back on the end and drop the payment by 130 bucks. I emailed OOP and got the call again that they have tried all they can for me but since it is FHA and back by GINNIE nothing else they can do. So bascially i take this or forclose i guess. I may not have a choice but to take it and I will probably end back up in the same situation I am in now. The payment is 1911 so it will only drop to 1773 which really doesnt help me at all. But at this point I dont know what choice I have. I have 2 girls and with what is going on and expecting another it is really stressful.. Makes me question if I can even care for another child. I have just been so stressed and that is why lately I have just said forget it all. But I am glad to hear you are ok and everyone else.

Oh Shay. So sorry to hear about your frustrations with this modification hell. Congratulations! You said you have 2 girls now. Maybe you will have a boy? This stress is not good for anyone, especially a pregnant woman. Your home is where your family is. I sure wish there was something I could do to help you. Please take care of yourself.

Thank you Native I will try, but all of this has worn me out. Almost to the point where i didnt know if having the baby was a good idea. Anyway yes 2 girls one 16 and one 10 and you are right it may be a boy this time, but i will not know that for at least another 9 weeks, but I will be sure to let you know. on another note taking this crappy MOD may be may only choice. They said there is nothing else they can do cause of FHA and this is the best offer I will get. I am already 6 months behind I dont have alot of time. Oh well if I take it and end up right back in the same situation I will tell them I told you so not that they would care anyway...

Re: Melanie702--where are you?

Shay, if you take it, it might start the process all over again. At least stop foreclosure for a while. Who knows, maybe legislation will be changed over the next few months and you will have another chance at getting something decent. I do have a feeling some of the rules are going to be rewritten. They certainly were not written correctly and especially for those of you who are suffering from severe property value losses, the banks should have been REQUIRED to forbear principal.

ama - I sense a fedex delivery for us is coming today. I hope I don't see any of the trucks in my area. I might have to stop them.

They denied me a million times but the last time FHA HAMP some crap about the value he confused me alot. Said something couldnt exceed 116,000 and mine was like almost 170,000. I had no idea what they were talking about, but he said that was not the only reason that was just one. Said my debt to ratio was was too high. So i gave up on the Hamp they said i will never get approved for it.

Re: Melanie702--where are you?

native- thanks a bunch! If that does mean for the "new" loan, then that would suck as it would be that stupid MOD they offered me. Like I said, I'm not going to stress about this anymore. I'm seriously going with the flow now and letting NACA handle it. I haven't called either one of them since last month. I'm proud of myself.

shay- I knew they would offer you the same sh!t as they did me. Are you going to try NACA? I would like I said before, to buy time. Congrats on the new baby to be. Just try to relax and not worry about it anymore. Stressing and worrying does not help, and I learned that. We will be OK whatever happens, don't stress.

Hi Melanie!!! Glad to see you're getting some movement.

I heard from Chase via NACA requesting more info. That's about it.

Re: Melanie702--where are you?

Skank denied us last week.
Submitted updated financials.
No word yet.
Getting really tired. Weighing other options.
This is incredibly depressing and starting to effect my health. Sick of this crap, just give me a mod already and earn interest on my loan for the next 10 years or more. I have had two other mortgages with this servicer and paid them both off. Future employment is positive, just not enough to cover the mortgage.

Mel - thinking about trying naca. How is your experience with them?
