Have been dealing with Wachovia the last three months. They have been really great about answering questions. I was trying for a regular MOD then the Hamp started a week ago with them, so in order to qualify I had to take myself out of the regular MOD,and now they are sending me app for the Hamp prog. Now I am having seconds thoughts if I did the right move. When you call you always get a different answer from the customer service dept. I called and interviewed for the Hamp the other day, and told the fellow my mom lives with me and compensates me for her food and care, she is not on the loan. But he asked if she gets any other income in do I need to add that on the application.Being she is not on the loan ? I was wondering being that I get workers comp and am not going back to work for a few months does that make a difference. Thanks open for all suggestions.

Any outside income from a person not on the loan (whether spouse, family member, friend etc) has to be added to income even if their not on the loan. Usually on some forms there is a section for other income where you can specify X person giving you X amount monthly etc.

I get compensation certain amt. from her,but they asked what other income she has but that does not go to me. They want her bank statements and award letter from what investments she has.

Banks want to see a paper trail, so I've had times where just showing the the checks deposited to the person sufficed, and other times where the person giving the funds had to provide proof of their income etc.
