I hope obama is happy

We have a first and second with Citimortage, 1st is foreclosing on after we have tried to get help. We never got to talk to anyone about first, we did talk to people connected to 2nd, but it was always BS.

They told us and paper work shows second was a HELOC, but we found that it was not and we asked and was told by Mortgage Broker it was, (I have email).

We later found a TIL document that was forged, I sent in right to Rescission in May 09, loan was dated Aug, 07. We tried to refi in Dec 07, but lost job and appraisal came back $105,000 less.>>

I sent Rescission again this last month and the guy I was working with on 2nd and he emailed me and told me he shredded the rescission because I was 2 years to late.

I have an attorney, but he is not getting any were, Foreclosure is 11-10-2009.

Re: I hope obama is happy

Your story breaks my heart. How your attorney is not getting any where is troublesome. What has the attorney suggested you do? What are your options? Since TIL was forged, any chance your state's attorney general will help you? If you live close enough to visit the attorney general in person, I would suggest you do. Please share what your attorney has done to help you so far. God bless you. I wish you the best. Please let us know if we can help you.

Not everybody can do as much as Bush did when it comes to helping homeowners...
The Nobel Peace Prize has NOTHING to do with national politics - but for many people, that's hard to understand because they believe the world begins in NY and ends in CA....

mph - sorry this is happening to you. I am also sorry that you bought the home during Obama's administration when everyone was being told to buy buy buy and then near the end of his term the markets crashed and all of our properties tanked and people lost their jobs...... Oh pardon me. That WASN'T Obama now, was it?

Re: I hope obama is happy

Oh. That's right. If I remember right, the previous Obama administration started TARP. The economy has tanked over the past decade. Obama stepped into this mess and is doing what he can. Can you imagine taking over when he did? I can't. Although I am pretty pissed off at him right now for the lax regulations in the HAMP directives, this economy has been in the toilet for over the past decade. Hate politics? I do. It's the blame game. We can sit here all day/all night long and blame whomever we want. Do you want to make a change? Do you vote? If you don't vote, shut up. You have no right to stay a damn thing about anything. If you sincerely want to make a change vote the "career politician" out. Politicians were created in the 1800s to come from their "real jobs" and serve the public for ONE TERM and then go back to the "real jobs." What the hell is a career politician? A chance to be corrupted and get rich. That's it. You vote, you have a say in what is going on. You don't. Go away. And please do it quietly.

Re: I hope obama is happy

It was during Clinton's term that the GSE's were forced to lower their lending criteria to qualify more people and encourage homeownership. We can play the blame game all day long but ultimately we are all responsible for our own situatinos.

instead of blaming Obama start making phone calls to people that can help you with your situation. You are not the only one going through this. I too am in foreclosure but you don't see me blaming the president for that. I should of done a lot more research before buying a home with an Arm interest rate of 9.75%. Now I just have to fix the problem. Everyone has been hurt during this economy. And besides this man is picking up years issues in his 4 year term.

Yes, he stepped into a horrible mess but he's making it much worse. HAMP is failing miserably at a cost so far of $43 billion and growing. The latest news about his healthcare reform has reports from the congressional budget experts that predict the government insurance option will cost consumers more than private insurance. What purpose does that serve? At a cost of well over a trillion dollars, it makes about as much sense as his HAMP - "sign here, make your trial payments, and then your modification will become permanent unless it doesn't."

The economy goes in cycles and is going to rebound no matter what he does. He's just spending our money at an outrageous rate in an effort to make it appear as though he's the hero, but the people aren't buying it. His approval rating is down to 51%.

Re: I hope obama is happy

Okay, the real issue here is this guy needs help. He is stuck with a fraudulent loan. The suggestion to to the attny general is good. Also, find out who the investor on the loan is and contact them. Ask them what they want to do about this fraudulent note they own....You could tell them you can't pay on it until it is taken care of. Can you keep paying the first mortgage? Contact the BBB too! And your elected officials. Keep calling and don't stop. This has to be a daily habit for you until someone takes on your case and makes it right.

Re: I hope obama is happy

The only thing about Obama is that he asked Bush to side with him and bail out CITI to the toon of several BILLION DOLLARS and they ignore me. I have talked with the attny general and they also, have done nothing, the mortgage broker wrote them a letter and lied and Attny General says, OK. I opened another complaint and Attny General says we can't help get an attorney. I just can't believe we are so powerless.
