ocwen mo

I posted a few months ago about trying for this modification through ocwen. It's now going on three months and I finally just now got a letter saying that I was eligible because my income is already over 31%. I bought my house with my brother and when they do the calculations it comes out over. They don't factor in that my brother is single and that I have a wife and two kids and also a car payment. The letter says to send all of the paper work in again (bank statements, checks and all our bills) and maybe they can do an in house modification. I've sent them all of this numerous times because they kept saying they never received any of it when I was trying for the first mod. I've read alot about ocwen on here and I'm not sure if there's any way I can win this. By the way, I fell behind because they cut my hours down where I work and also took a 10% hourly pay cut on top of it. I have dropped my 401k out of pay check and tried cutting all other bills to help but I'm still coming out short. I'm also working with a hud councilor and he is calling me back tomorrow. I seen some where in another thread that you can call or email people higher up at ocwen and some times they can help you. I can't seem to find these numbers though. Any help would be great. My loan is an 80/20 with ocwen the main and wishire the second.

I would make sure to call into the loss mitigation dept and not the regular old customer service. You will find that the loss mitigation reps are usually much more knowledgable.

Re: ocwen mo

Thanks for the tip. For some reason even with all of the paper work they have sent me I don't have that number. I'll try calling that number and see what they have to say. I just don't understand why they want me to send all of this information when I have did it numberous times already and also went over it on the phone a couple of times. Seems like there just trying to keep from complaining until they forclose on me.

Roundtable Discussion Convened by Ocwen Financial Corporation Sets Stage for Expected Report On Foreclosure Mitigation Efforts From Congressional Oversight Panel

Ocwen representatives agreed upon a number of imperatives and recommendations. They include:
* Working closely with the Obama administration to arrive at more
flexible guidelines so more distressed homeowners qualify for
mortgage modifications under the Home Affordable Modification
Program (HAMP).
* Developing a national awareness and information campaign
regarding HAMP to increase homeowner outreach.
* Focusing more intensely on homeowners who are under-employed or
unemployed and thus need state or federal assistance to qualify
for mortgage modifications.
* Greater collaboration between servicers and grassroots groups in
providing real-time solutions for homeowners - including being
more proactive about helping borrowers early on, before they
face the prospect of foreclosure.
* Increasing government budget allocations for community and
grassroots organizations' engagement in housing and financial
counseling with homeowners - and streamlining the procedures for
reimbursement for the effort.
* Increasing the use of Web technology to reach out to homeowners
and link them with community groups that can offer housing
counseling and other supportive social services.
* Combating consumer and Fair Housing violations and other scams
perpetrated on borrowers by groups trying to lure distressed
homeowners into illegal and damaging home foreclosure prevention

Re: ocwen mo

Thanks for the information. Maybe they will work with me then. The hud counselor that was suppose to call me never even called. I did get a new letter from ocwen though that said even though I didn't qualify for the making home affordable modification there were some others that they could do in house. They want me to fill out another expense sheet and send them all of my check stubs and bank statements once again so I'm working on that tonight. Not sure what else to do right now.

Re: ocwen mo

Agreeing to do something is also very different than doing it!

Some of this kind of stuff is good PR but can be slow to do what they say they will!

Good luck
