3-month trial twice??

Has anyone gone into the 3 month trial twice on the MHA mod? I am curious to know if there are any success stories. I am about to re-submit doc's that should get me approved, but I wonder if I am wasting my time. Are they (GMAC) just gonna collect 3 more mod payments from me, deny me again, and foreclose anyway. Being that I have a PMI policy, that might be the most desirable route for them I think..........

If you have already completed the three month trial period GMAC should be reviewing your case for a permanent modification. There is no reason for you to have to go through it twice..

Re: 3-month trial twice??

Thanks for the reply Evan, I was denied after going thru a 3 month trial (although at first I was told I was approved on at least 3 occasions). However, that infamous "final paperwork" never made it to me. It appears that they have calculated my income incorrectly, thus making it appear that they cannot modify my payment without forgiving principal. They refuse to take another look at the doc's they already have, and I will have to resubmit. Then go thru the whole circus again, hence my previous post............

Re: 3-month trial twice??

Sorry to hear this Diceman. It is terrible how these lenders will make homeowners jump through hoops while going through this process. Make sure to not go through customers service department, contact the loss mitigation dept..
