I cannot send wire them my 3 months payments without the legal fees . I talked to 2 rude people who attempted to set me on a payment plan which would require 4500 now and 3300+ payments for 8 months to catch up on all fees. Mind you , my payment is 2126 a month. If I do the math properly, there is an excess of 3000 unaccounted for - even IF i believe the legal fees are legit. I talked to a friend of mine who does mortgage loans and he assures me I wasn't talking to Loss Mitigation, that I was in the collections dept. He said loss mit doesnt want your home to go through foreclosure, they will work with me. etc and not be ignorant. My question - How can I be certain I am talking to loss mitigation? I asked them on the phone if they were and they said yes! I called 866-822-1471. Anyone have a way to ensure I get Loss Mit?? |

| Re: HomeQ and Loss Mit Dept Welcome to the forum and thank you for joining..... Call back into HomeQ, check the forum out for the phone numbers that are other than the one that you have....regardless of the number that you use, request and assertively demand the number for the Loss Mitigation Department from whomever answers the phone. Once you get over there it is not really all that much better, but you are in the right department and can start the modification process. Keep calling until you get the number. |

Over and over again she said it was not her problem and that I need to make the payment. I asked about extending our payment plan to keep the costs down. Can't do that. I asked about a loan modification. Was told that if I had not received a letter that I am eligible for one, that I am not eligible for one. I asked about other options. None. I was told that my only option is to break the plan I am on now and see if a new one could be worked out. Nice. She was rude. I assured her that I did not and could not make the payment in April. She told me to get the money. And if I broke the plan, I would be subject to more foreclosure fees. What am I to do? Really? Chapter 13? I even called the CEO begging him for help. |

| Re: HomeQ and Loss Mit Dept Regardless Minnfred you were talking to collections not loss mit or home retention, the collections folks are rude and socially unacceptable...get to the loss mit or home retention departments, just ask the CSR what those numbers are. |
