I have been reading your threads. I have learned more with this site than any other that I have read lately. If I hadn't of gotten the encouragement to go ahead and call Chase, we may have lost our home. Our trustee sale is on March 4th. Thank God I called because the person I talked to before had mislead me. Were in for a modification and she quoted us less time than you have all talked about in your threads. We have gotten the sale postponed. I didn't even know you could do that. The person I talked to was nice and really wanted to help us(for the moment at least!). We were going to file bankruptcy on Monday to stop the sale, because we felt there was no more hope. I just had to talk to the right person. Well I have the confirmation and I will keep on top of it. I just wanted to tell all of you, that if you all hadn't of been here telling your story and the help you have received from everybody. I would of never called to check up on Chase. So Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! We will let you know what turns out with the modification. But for now our house is not going to be sold.

That is good news, I am so glad that we could assist and get you to a position to where you have hope. Now please be proactive and focused with them to get the job done and the goal met.

Make sure that you have confirmation that the sale is postponed, if not fax the agreement as you understand it to them, both the Lender and the Attorney to confirm that fact. Do not expect anyone other than yourselves to protect you. Make sure that you get the confirmation from the fax machine when you send it at the end your are sending from to assure that there is a record of the fax.

Meanwhile, call, call, call and fax, fax, fax.....

Hey out there, I`m still new to this posting and thread stuff so if I mess up sorry if I`m in the wrong place...I would like to get some feedback concerning WAMU and Long Beach mortgage Lenders affiliated with WAMU. Has anyone had any luck dealing with them concerning loan modification??? I would like to know if anyone has had success utilizing Marshall Rosenbach or other lawyers through this process...Thanks, Mike
