Thats the best time to reach someone and not an answering machine and they just started the day and no one has p**sed them off yet. who knows I might be the first one tom. HaHa Hopefully not. I've remained calm so far. Just hope I get the modification instead of having to go with the repayment plan. Fed Ex should be here tom. with the papers so I will see if the lady was confused or not. |

| Re: litton loan modification Generally speaking....very generally as things are changing daily the old mortgage moving target theory the Forbearance/Pay Back program dove tails into the modification as they want to collect/capture as much of the arrearage as they can before moving to the actual modification plan that they have in mind. This is my experience in dealing with the little dears....do not PO them "love your enemies, it drives them nuts". The more rational you are the less they can maintain position. However, I suspect that they have you approved for modification after the repayment/forbearance is completed. I am curious to find out... PLEASE, keep us posted.....I would love to see the Modification versus the Forbearance, but am guarded with my prognosis. |

On our papers it says its not into affect until we pay the money so I am going to talk to them and explain the situation. Hopefully they will take the modification. I am definately not getting my hopes up. I'm pretty sure they are going to do exactly what you said but trying to keep a little hope. I would not even have asked for the repayment plan if the lady did not tell me we were overcapitalized. which I thought was crazy in the first place. but I know they don't make mistakes. haha |

| Re: litton loan modification Yes they make mistakes, and the overcapitalization comment was one of them, I do believe it was in conjunction with the income issues... However, I would be very careful in the approach to determine just what they are doing, i.e. did the party that spoke to you mis name forbearance for modification when last you spoke to them.... If there is that misunderstanding i.e. idiot that read the screen in front of them, take the forbearance, it will roll into modification....we will see more and more of that in the near future. |

Be careful, calm, and persistent, and explain to them exactly what you would want to happen with the loan (looks like you are hoping for the modification), and see what they say - then let us know and take it from there. Have a great and productive day tomorrow. I still wish my wallet was overcapitalized, though |

I am so happy with that. My next payment isn't due until august since we sent in that money. The lady I worked with toward the end was great. It took a long time to get it done. I would not have kept calling everyday if it wasn't for this site. I did talk to the girls manager and gave her a good review but also told him about other reps that were just rude and didn't want to look up anything. |

| Re: My Story: Litton Mod (Con.) In the end, you should send a rather lengthly and detailed letter to the head of Litton, HUD and FTC to let them all know that this was all very poorly and unprofessionally handled during the worst part of the whole deal...this needs to be done to get these off brand servicers to toe the line. |

There is a certain person over you loan modification. This same lady has been over mine since december. In Feb. she called and told me that something was incorrect on it and that it wasn't our fault it was theirs. After she told me that I said ok and waited for it to come in the mail. Well I called back the next day and the lady in foreclosure dept. told me it could take 60 days for it to go through. we didn't have that to wait so I got set up on a repayment plan. AS soon as I sent in the money I called back and talked to the lady in the loan mod dept who is over my loan. She told me it wasn't going to take 60 days that she would walk down and get my application from somewhere so it would not take that long because if she didn't it would have to go to several dif. departments. She got the modification on the 29th of feb. and It got into the system on Tuesday march 4th and I was approved today. |

I asked them for the name so I know who I was talking to. I would do that every time. I noted everyone who I was being sent to. |
