Litton Loan is not promoting Modifications, they promote foreclosure!

his is a request for some answers concerning the legality of practices that Litton loan servicing provide.

Q:Is it legal for a loan servicer to mislead homeowners for the purpose of putting their property into foreclosure?

Q: Holding Mortgage payments until after the due date to incur late fees, is this legal?

Q: Not notifying customers that they are being charged with escrow fees for Insurance and property tax when they already have both intact and have for years, and then telling them they must accept this fee, Is this legal?
After sending countless faxes with information they have requested and getting back confirmation as received, then told over and over again they have never gotten your faxes or they have somehow misplaced them and need you to send them again, and again, and again, that in turn waste valuable time during which they begin the foreclosure process, seem incompetent or possibly for another reason?

once you request a modification months go by and when you call for status they are always in the process of reviewing the request, and when you ask who is reviewing it, told the \"reviewer\", and who might that be? response \"how would I know\" meanwhile you and your family go to bed at night wondering what will happen if you lose the house, and sleeping is minimal for my wife and I, and all this time they have people doing the paperwork needed to put you in default and on its way to foreclosure.

Q: would you consider this helping the homeowner stay out of foreclosure as they claim? HELLO! how many said yes!

Q: This make take some pondering but it is very interesting, I would like to understand why any lender would want to assume high risk mortgages? Oh that\'s right, to help us keep our homes, how nice, NOT, Litton is assc. with C-BASS form what I understand is sort of top notch debt collector, in turn connected to Bears & Stearns, $$$, Ex: we bought our home for $325.000 and it is valued at $165.000 today, now our credit is not good but we have not missed a mortgage payment in 4 years, however in the past 6 months we have lost 50% of our clients and will be losing more next month due to people losing their jobs, So we are currently in a trail period for a modification and are paying the new rate they are billing us, now the problem is we have not gotten back a written acceptance from the lender and recently received a notice for default with intent to accelerate by certified mail, we called Litton and were told by a rep, (which we have the name of) to ignore the letter and we were up to date on the loan. This sounds really fishy, more so reading complaint after complaint or the horrors that await us, I will not wait any longer and take a chance on having my family ********, anyway back to the point, would it not make more sense to work with the homeowner that is making the payment on a house worth so much less than it was bought for? The money has got to be at the front of the lenders priorities, they don\'t care a hoot about foreclosures, $$$$ is it! so were are they going to get that money from is the next Q, Does the Govt have some sort of buying up foreclosed homes and getting a grant or something? does Bears and Stearns have some kind of foreclosure insurance they will collect on and then go and turn around and sell the property again for more $$?

There must be a answer because they are not about to lose money by foreclosing. it is the priority, people are meaningless, to me if I were a lender I would want the best mortgages, with owners who have perfect credit so I can make my money on the interest, This is not the case here, something is really wrong with this picture!This is the plan
to push us over the cliff and into foreclosure, they in no way are trying to help us stay out of foreclosure and keep our homes as they stated before the govt, and have told President Obama, and he should already be aware of this, this is not what he intended and he needs to put a stop to this right now before more people are hurt, and then freeze the assets and try and get some kind of restitution to all the victims.

NOW please is there not some law that has been broken? The Govt! Lawyers! come on WAKE UP!, if not then the law is what is broken and needs mending right NOW!

There are so many things being done to put us in foreclosure, Income verification is being done by whom at Litton, The head verifier from Enron?one of the cast from a Looney Toons cartoon? In black and white I could give my 10yr old Daughter this to figure and it would show us not being able to survive unless we get a modification, Anybody out there in agreement?

What is a hardship, The Titanic? no it is something that has happened in your life to change your income or ability to make an income. Litton is going by some other criteria, what it is only they know, or he knows, who knows, in fact if you were to ask someone from Litton they don\'t know, Standard and poors rated them What? must not be the same Litton, can\'t be!O.K. enough rambling, sorry I am just so PISSED OFF about this,AWFUL! Last they state that the reason they can\'t get to all these modifications in a timely manner is they are overloaded with requests, REALLY! how about this,your overloaded with denials, All the paperwork and manpower it takes in the default and foreclosure process, TOO much Bull you are feeding to the poor people losing their homes, They have a Hidden agenda, (not very hidden) they are gloating at us with blood running down their cheek saying we are doing this and have been doing this to you for years, nobody has ever stopped us and they never will!

Govt! Lawyers! Now please someone take action and do something that will help the people who need you the most! Not the rich! also, Atty General of Texas, What are you doing? You have some many corrupts corps down there, Why is this?
GET ON YOUR HORSE AND DO SOMETHING! PLEASE! Will be looking for responses from other victims and what action to take.
