need some advice on homeq loan!

Ok so I kept trying to get homeq to modify our loan and they kept saying that we didnt qualify! when i was pretty sure we did. So i spoke to a non-profit counseling center anyway they said they would make a referal to homeq and we should her from them in 2-4 weeks this was about 4 days ago. We thought they really would'nt help so we talk to an attorney yesturaday said they could help! So today I get a call from Homeq saying to fax in some paper work to see if they could modify loan. Should I see was homeq can do for us or should I just go with the attorney? Or maybe do both and see how can do better??

If you are going to use an attorney make sure to study their background first.

Personally I have seen success from homeowners on their own, using a non-profit, and also an attorney.
