Ok so I kept trying to get homeq to modify our loan and they kept saying that we didnt qualify! when i was pretty sure we did. So i spoke to a non-profit counseling center anyway they said they would make a referal to homeq and we should her from them in 2-4 weeks this was about 4 days ago. We thought they really would'nt help so we talk to an attorney yesturaday said they could help! So today I get a call from Homeq saying to fax in some paper work to see if they could modify loan. Should I see was homeq can do for us or should I just go with the attorney? Or maybe do both and see how can do better?? |

If you are going to use an attorney make sure to study their background first. Personally I have seen success from homeowners on their own, using a non-profit, and also an attorney.
