I have a 6.85 interest rate and current on my payments. My credit is flawless. I want to modify my loan. My loan amount is 220,000 and the property is probably worth 140,000. Please tell me what process I should take from here??????? Thanks!!! |

Thanks!!! /QUOTE] First of all you will need to write up a hardship letter and have it ready to send to the bank. You can find some examples here: Examples of a Hardship Letter You will also need to have all of you financial information together such as paystubs, bank statements, tax returns, etc. By the way who is your lender?
