| Saxon Modification
We started the modification process with Saxon in February, which they suggested. We weren't behind on our mortgage until they started the mod process. We were told that we were approved and not to make anymore payments because my February payment, which was being held in a suspense account, would be used to make two payments when they came due for May and June. I wired the deposit into their account but was later told our mod was denied because the documents weren't returned by the due date. The due date was April 29th, I paid to have them sent overnight by FEDEX which they received on the 27th. I was told the mod was denied on the 24th. That is impossible when the documents weren't due then. I have talked to these people almost daily for 5 months now and I've heard a thousand different things. They just can't tell the same info twice. We received certified mail stating we will need to pay $5700 in 30 days or our home will be in foreclosure. We asked for this mod in 2008 and when we didn't hear anything, it was business as usual. We didn't think we would get one but then all of a sudden they started this mess which I'm sure is ruining our credit ratings. I called on July 20th and was told our mod is pending since I was told to fax in all of the documents that I've faxed twice already. This company is a nightmare. I can't believe they are able to operate like this. They are hurting so many people and no one seems to care. I know all of these complaints have to be read by someone that can help us. I am willing to do what it will take to stop them. I am totally fed up because this is something that they created and something should be done about it. I welcome any advice or assistance.
