EverHome requests "Contribution Toward Modification" - Loan Modification Forum

Hi there,

I applied for a loan modification with EverHome and rec'd a letter requesting "Proof of Property Taxes/Insurance/Contribution Towards Modification".

Can anyone shed light on the documentation request for "Contribution Towards Modification"? What do I provide? I previously provided a bank statement with my packet.

there should be contact number on the letter for questions.........you would need to ask EverHome what they would need you to send for that.

Thanks, ***. The EverHome rep said it's a contribution toward the down payment for the modification. Yes, "down payment for the modification." I'm not sure what to make of it.
