Need help!!! Indymac!! - Loan Modification Forum

Hello everyone,

I sent in mod paperwork for INDYMAC a couple of months ago and they have never given me a final decision!! They kept telling me over the phone that "its in review". The 1800 number that I keep calling keeps giving me the run around and as of today I received a trustee sale notice that is taking place on the 21st of May.

Does anyone have INDYMAC contacts numbers that know what there talking about!!

I would really appreciate it!!

Not since they were taken over by the investors that bought IndyMac and became OneWest..............the IndyMac execs are no longer there.

They are showing a different number on the screen where you can check eligibility for a modification here.........

The thing is that Ive already sent in my mod paperwork so Im trying to get a clear answer as to if my paperwork has been denied or approved at this point. No one seems to know and I have this sale trustee sale date coming up at the end of the month...

there is a different contact number at the top of the page then what you posted that you were calling.

I have that number as well and they told me the same thing. Your loan mod paperwork is in review status. When I go online and put in my loan number and social it says that I dont qualify online and that I need to submit financials for review.

I am sorry that you are not able to get an answer.........if you submitted your information a couple of months ago............you may want to resubmit it for the Making Home Affordable modification program online.........they would not be able to use financials that are more than 60 days old..............this way they can postpone the foreclosure date while working with you on this modification program.........

or if this is the only property that you own................you can try going through NACA...........the services for their Home Save modification are free...........here is the link for the info...........

How long have you been dealing with them, we were on a program for 5 months, with the agreed amount on time, now they say that mod. won't work. Send in financials. Everytime I call it's a different story.

I emailed one of the VP *** posted and Brenda called me after 2 days... but same thing

i'm current... so no modification for me

, I went to NACA and started the process

Have you had any success with NACA yet ? I was told the same thing, eventhough my DTI is at 51% we do not qualify for mod because we are current....

Not sure who you are directing the question to, but I have not made a payment since July 2008. I am not current and was served a foreclosure summons on 3-30-09.

Nothing. Had to resubmit everything to OneWest (same fax number as Indymac) and they paid my delinquent (non-escrowed) taxes on the house for 2008. Received a letter stating that they received everything they needed for a loan mod review. They call, I answer. They change my income on the computer over and over. The foreclosure is on hold. I am just waiting.

at least your moving forward.... for me, I'm lost! I dont know what going on, per naca they submit the proposal last may 29, 2009 but per indymac they dont have nothing! and they want me to fax or submit whatever naca sent, but what will I send....!@#$? oh btw i'm current, probably that's why....
