I really dont know what to do i wanted to tell them off,but i have 2 kids and a wife and i have spent 10 years putting upgrades in my house...if anyone has any advice ...please help!!!! Sorry if i misspelled anything |

I was told the same thing, its a step program, new system, however I think they are doing the best they can given the situation, there are hundreds of thousands of us, you're not alone. Your best bet is to the ERT Dept at the number *** posted above, for follow ups. I call once a week.. Today I was told that my BPO was complete and my file is under "consideration" "review" all that good stuff. That I should be getting a packet with what can be done. Just be patient take a deep breath and know you're not alone in this... nitag |

I am going to be positive and hope they want to keep us in our home. My first Mod with Avelo was wonderful, lowered our payment by about $1100 a month, but do to a reduction in income we are behind.... So I am hoping with the knowledge I have learned here I will be successful once again, and if it doesn't work I am going to try NACA... I won't give up nor will I let it get to me, been there before.. Try to stay positive and focused. Just give them the info they are requesting and play the game.. Its pretty much just a game.. But please don't let it get to you.. I am sure you just have to redo it cuz of all the new forms.. That is why they had me wait till after the new system is in!! |

We are in the same boat with Litton...It is a waiting game. Up until last week I was stressing out soooo bad it was affecting not only me but everyone me. I had to get into the right mindset. You can only do as much as you can do. The rest is up to Litton...And they know that. Try to be as nice as possible (trust me i know it is hard) to the people you talk to at Litton. It goes VERY far |

There are so many of us looking to do a loan mod and as much of a pain as it is, it's better to have to start the paperwork all over again then to be flat out told NO. At least they're working on it or TRYING TO :-). I was told not to send anymore in than I have already (4506-T, hardship letter), they asked me some questions by phone like what my utilities are, phone/cell, what my husband makes each week, and what my credit card bills are each month. I gave them a few figures as I knew them at that moment and they said that I would go into a prequalifying step that would take 2 weeks. I'm like, hey I have more bills than just that (husb pays child support..medical bills, etc) but they didn't want to hear any of that. My fear is that I won't even prequalify! So I'm going to call the ERT dept at LItton this week to see what the deal is and if I should send anything else in just to add it to my file. We had our house up for sale because we were going to have to move (couldn't find work here, found it in FL but then husb got a job here again so we could stay)-we would short sell it if we could even get an offer on it. They told us to take it off the market because you can't do a loan mod and short sale at the same time. I told them if they don't modify the loan I'm going to have to short sale so why waste time taking it off the martket and putting it back on. Either they modify the loan, the house sells by short sale or they can have it back. My credit is shot now anyway as I have not paid since the Jan pmt. If we have to move I'll need some $ to put down on a rental. Sorry so long, just wanted to say you're not alone in the waiting game. |
