Ours is a long story, like everyone else, but will give the short version. Jerked around trying to get modified by First Franklin, been working on it for 6 months. Working with NACA, they have been great.
Received a foreclosure letter yesterday, weird from an Attorney's Office. Anyway, called them, got no where. Naca told us to call the lender, again. This time we finally got some decent news.
They have put a Moritorium on all Foreclosures in April!! Most likely will continue through May and June, so those who want to keep their homes have a chance to work out a modification. Was also told they received our packet from Naca, which was submitted on April 15th and they would possibly have an answer for us in 2 weeks!!! He said they were working with the non profits more and have a dedicated team for just that!
Anyone that has been working with First Franklin will know this is a bit unbelievable. So, if you have a loan with them and are facing foreclosure, call them and ask about the moritorium. I hope this is good news and they are finally willing to work with us!
