ASC negotiator April Brown - Loan Modification Forum

Does anyone by chance have a contact phone number/email for April Brown? She is the negotiator assigned to my file and I'm hoping to get ahold of her directly.

She was also my negotiator, however I never got her number nor was I able to talk to her. I called every week and they said your loan mod is in review, until last week and then they said that the review had pasted the negotiator but that nothing was noted. Told me to call back in a couple of days. So then a week later I get a call form some guy named Joe, he went over my finanicials over the phone and then told me here is what I can do he said he could change my rate from ARM to 6.5% fixed said I would need to send in three payments at the new rate for 3 months then I would need to pay one time fee of $6,000 in the 4th month and then they would make my mod final. I can give you Joe's phone number if you like. (tommorow I left it at home)

Good luck getting ahold of any negotiators. I am also dealing with ASC. The agreement they send probably won't be any sort of loan modification. Chances are it will be a forebearance agreement.....be careful!! They have a large balloon payment that comes due in the end(after 4 months of reduced payments). If you sign the agreement and do not pay the balloon payment in full it basically allows them to speed up the foreclosure process if they want because you breach the contract you signed. I am researching this whole deal with loan mod's through ASC..so far I don't know a whole lot besides the fact they are not truthful and stand the chance to make lotsa extra money if we as consumers do not pay attention to what they are doing. I did not sign and won't until they clarify some questions I have..until then I will keep researching.

What happens if you don't sign the agreement they send you? I have ASC too and the agreement they sent only lowered my payment by $300.

I got tired of them jerking me around so I hired a lawyer to do my loan mod.
