Two of them are with National City Mortgage, both fixed on an original 15 year with 12 years to go. I was 2 months behind (not by plan to initiate mods but by financial necessity) when I send in all the requested info for a loan mod. We are self employed, so it was a big pkg with 2 year taxes and P&Ls for personal/self-employed/rentals (used info f/this site for the suggested bottom line of ~$250 surplus). Called to follow up to ensure packages received and was advised both had been received and were "complete"; to expect a return call in 3-4 weeks. NOW TODAY I see us in the paper for one of the properties for a scheduled Trustee Notice of Sale. I don't think it is a coincidence it is on the property with the most equity. WHAT? They didn't call or notify us at all, not even a "form letter". The last I heard they had received all my info and were working on the files. WHAT do I do now? I have worked SOOOO hard on this and am in a panic. Please advise. Thanks! |
