Help with National City Mortgage 2nd

Hi everyone -

I have been working with IndyMac on our 1st, and having issues with National City on our 2nd.

I have sent in our financials like they asked, but magically they "have not received them". Unfortunately, I made the mistake of NOT sending this pack certified, but I made copies of everything.

I have called HOPE because of a letter received from them regarding National City Mortgage, but they are always busy and never taking calls when I am available to call. They take my info to call me back and never do.

So, I think it's time to send National City an email/letter to the "higher ups" like I did IndyMac.

Does anyone have names, emails & physical addresses to send a letter of "I am making an effort and you seem to not care" letter to them?

Thanks!

Help with National City Mortgage 2nd

We stopped paying both of our mortgages last July. We finally received a mod. from IndyMac on our 1st in December, and started paying in January.

I have been working with National City on our 1nd just as long, with NO results until yesterday. I sent our papework in SIX times!!! Each time, something was missing so they closed our file. They apparently keep nothing that you send, so each time I had for send everything over again.

There is no one to contact directly there. No names, nothing. OK, well, you get people's names, but they have no direct extensions, so everytime I call, I get someone who is not familiar with what I spoke to the previous person about.

So finally, after 8 months, and numerous trips to the post office, we get a denial for a mod in the mail yesterday due to "deficit income".

I don't know how we have a "deficit income" since I went over the paperwork all 6x I sent it to make sure I did NOT show a "deficit income". I made sure I showed a small surplus (same as with IndyMac).

I don't know what to do. We plan on staying in our home now that we received a mod from Indy, but I am having no luck with National City.

Our 1st with Indy is somewhere around $500,000
Our 2nd with National City is $76,000 it's a 9% a 30yr payable in 15 (HUGE balloon payment in 2020)

What can I do? Are we stuck? These people are COMPLETELY unhelpful, and unorganized. 10x more of a nightmare than dealing with IndyMac.

If I used the same financials with National City as I did with IndyMac, when why were we given a mod with them, but National City says we have "deficit income"?

Can the 2nd foreclose on our house? Should I work out a payment plan and start paying and send a QWR to see if they even have all our paperwork, etc?

Thanks for your help!
