So today I received a collection call from a "housing counselor" at HomEq.
She explained that at the end of the month, my condo was going into foreclosure.
I told her that I hired a law firm to help negotiate with them and she said that it was a waste of money. She said that their policy is to only modify a loan once and since they had mod'd my loan already, no one will be able to help me.
She explained that my only option is to either make the payments or short-sell.

How could a company be so short sided as to not want to help the homeowner stay in their home? The original modification reset my first mortgage to 5%, but on a crazy unrealistic value. I bought the condo three years ago for $710K. It's now worth $200K according to comps.

The "counselor" ended the call by saying good luck with your foreclosure.

As per the Office of the Chief Exec at Homeq, they will re-modify you if you've made at minimum 9 payments since your original mod. I'm dealing with the same crud from their worthless buttocks right now. Check out my posts....
