Just kidding Well, I got a first mortgage of $303,500.00 and a second for $85,000.00 My house was appraised by a local appraiser and it came in @ $229,000.00 On top of that 1/2 the house has no siding, I stopped the job. Half the kitchen is apart also half the upstairs bath is apart. It has hail damage of $10,000.00 I got paid for the claim. I was offered 2% on $303,500.00 for 5 years with my first payment of $1,240 incl tax and insur. BUT without documents. After a 3 month trial the will get back to me. I'm having a fire sale at my hope for all the stuff I can sell. I'm filing chapter 13 and giving the hose back to the bank. I move in my new apartment for $2,975 a month. Does anyone have any better ideas? |

I can't tell you to do a Short Sale since the house is missing parts. The best thing is to give it back to the bank and let them have it. Make sure that you do not have checking or savings with the same lender/banks. It's good that you moved in to a new apartment at least you have all your belongings with you. But I still think that your rent is too high but maybe you have more amenities, large apt and rooms, with washer and dryer included in the unit and gymn and spa and swimming pool, you don't have to pay a huge electric bill and water. I live in a one bedroom apt with all these amenities, San Diego area and I pay $1245 a month, the apt is brand new when we first moved in. God bless,

The apartment is across the street from my wife's job, my job is 1 mile away. With the house it was a 1 hr commute on a good day one way. but bad weather and on a friday it could be more then 2 hrs. So after 6 years of this I think this is a good time to go. The apartment is 2 bedroom 2 bath 1355 Sq feet 2nd floor in Boston. |
