Who IS BAC Home LNS LP? - Loan Modification Forum

Good morning everyone,
I just received an alert from credit agency stating that there is a new amount that I owed about $12k to BAC Home LNS LP/CW.

Does anyone know the meaning of this? I don't know why CW is reporting that we owed $12K we have sold our house via short sale and they said that they will not pursue any def jugments. I don't understand it.

I don't know if I will contact CW or BAC Home, I have their address as the same address as CW.

Any help and suggestions is appreciated.

Hi Faith,

That is a letter from Bank of America. They have bought out CW and recently CW changed over their entire system to BofA. Not sure why they are calling since you already had a short sale...
