GMAC 2nd mortgage question - Loan Modification Forum

I found out that our 1st mortgage with GMAC has been approved for a short sell. Now I am told I have to wait to see if they approve it for our 2nd mortgage. Both mortgages are with GMAC. Does anyone know if it is hard to get a 2nd mortgage approved after the 1st one is approved?

Did you have to go through a lot hoops to get the short sale approved? I too have two mortgages with GMAC. Did you have to contact Mr. Neuman?
