Predatory Lending Penalties - Loan Modification Forum

I'm researching all over the web to try and find out if there are certain limits on predatory lending violations and what actual damages to the lenders end up being. I see all the talk about it. The one item I found was that penalties can be up to "Three times the finance charge", but that was randomly stated on a website. Surely there are some types of limits or constraints right?

Yep, Me too (well, somewhat) I haven't had the Oppty. to Devote as much time as I'd like to b/c of everything else I Have to Handle First ( I am "Walking Away..NO Running Away from my Home!!) So PLEASE Post if you find out! I will do same thank-you!!! HappyHome
