Rip Off Report

Hey Moe....FYI

I just made a report on the web site called rip off report.com regarding Option One and their customer service and I referenced LoanSafe.org in my post as a website for homeowners in crisis and facing foreclosure.

This website was interesting and I found that Option One alone had 115 rip off reports registered over their blatant fees, lack of customer service, and many foreclosures where they have taken peoples homes away for various reasons including phantom late payments where Option One didn't post the payments in a timely manner, accounts that had a shortage in their escrow account....the list goes on and on. People are calling for class action lawsuits against Option One for their predatory lending and servicing.

I just wanted to let you all know that there is a website that you can make your consumer complaints to regarding your lender. I don't know if it actually helps anyone but it is a place to air your concerns.

Thats great and ripoff report is an awesome website. Lets just get those homeowners over here so they know how to fight back using the law.

I'm sure many of them do not know of section 6 RESPA where you can file a written request and by law they have to document these fees. Hopefully more will come here and it has got more busy and I appreciate you and you help Erika!

Ditto! I discovered this site a couple of weeks ago and bookmarked it. IT is definitely a consumer friendly site.

I found another one, entitled MOrtgage Fraud, but learned to my horror, it was run by a senior loan officer and was committed 100% to fighting fraud of consumers on banks -- blech.

Anytime, Moe...I'm here to offer help and support to the folks on this forum.

I was absolutely disgusted by what I read on the rip off report website about the various lenders. It's just horrifying that people are losing their homes right and left for a variety of reasons and a lot of it has to do with the lenders making accounting mistakes, posting payments late, refusing to work with borrowers who are behind. I believe there was something like 7000+ rip off reports on mortgage lenders alone! Hopefully, some of those homeowners in distress will read my report and come over to LoanSafe.org and get the help they so desperately need.

Sarah told me about another website called pissed consumer.com the only thing about this website is that it is loaded with ads. Once you navigate through it you can find some pretty scary stuff about various lenders as well. Thanks Sarah!
