| qwr Do you have to have a reason to request a qwr? In the example in the tool box the person states their whole story about fighting CW. Do you need to put that info on a QWR request or is that request something you are entitled to. I am trying to put together a qwr for my first franklin loan. I copied the letter in the toolbox but am not sure I want to hash out my whole ordeal on a QWR. Any ideas? |

It also gives you the opportunity to resolve these issues and request documentation that you need to know exactly what you owe, what you paid etc. I use it to cause the servicer some pain and to make them jump through hoops.

I was approved for a loan mod, I signed, notarized and returned documents, made two payments that did not post correctly. I verified that mod was complete and was told they would correct the posting errors, I informed them again that I intended to file for bankruptcy and was told this would not interupt the the process as the mod was complete. I filed for bankruptcy protection. Mailed in third payment which they cashed but did not apply correctly again. bk dept said mod not complete before I filed and they will not honor agreement I was transferred to loss mit and they again confirmed that mod was complete prior to filing but there ws an error in posting the payments and they issued an order to my processor to correct this issue. I have my 341 in two weeks. Will a QWR resolve this issue in time? |
