Something illegal or just sloppy business?

We are just getting ready to finish the paying off our deficit to Saxon and bring our home out of foreclosure for good and I am begining to wonder if there has been illegal activity by Saxon or just bad business practice. We realized in October of 2007 that Saxon was triple billing us each month for our property taxes, they admitted this and then we worked out another repayment plan with the overage put towards the "down payment". Now we are trying to get a letter of reinstatement so that we know exactly how much we need to completly catch up on our mortgage, but each time they fax it its wrong. It turns out that they never stopped the legal fees when we began our initial repayment plan in July 07, the foreclosure was in June 07. So now we need to wait while they contact the lawyer and reasses the fees before we get a correct reinstatment letter.

I suppose that this may just be sloppy business practices, but I am not sure and I would love to hear some opinions on this.

Just QWR the file......and ask for the payment stream with documentation of where and how each payment was applied.......
