Thank you for banning jpurifie....he was my mortgage broker and it is apparent that he received his copy of the QWR.....I noted in my QWR that my story is documented on this forum so that is how he found me here. Can we put his post back on the QWR forum so that his "threatening" tone is out there for all to see? It's a little creepy.....I should mention also that on Sunday I was watching TV with my kids when I spotted a black GMC Jimmy driving by our house very slowly. The driver turned around in someone's driveway and stopped in front of my house, rolled down the window and started taking pictures. When I went on the porch he rolled up the window and burned rubber driving away. I'm a little spooked!

I do not want that sort of disturbing and appalling behavior reflected so I would prefer not to alarm others as to the behavior of one rather pathetic paranoid individual, he apparently has a reason to be concerned. Under the circumstances the post should not be public and he has been banned, any other traces of him will be banned permanently. I feel very strongly that this sort of behavior is threatening, and impedes the ability to maintain the free speech forum that we enjoy here. I do not want you disturbed or other members disturbed...you need to let law enforcement know that you may have a problem and Moe will handle the forum issues with regards this individual.

Honey, it is real simple, the guy is scared, and he knows that he may have done wrong. This sort of response is normal for people that have a heavy, guilty conscience. Let's leave the really ugly stuff to Moe and others to see and handle, we have enough to deal with.

Poppy and Moe....Thanks for your prompt responses. To be frank.....I'm a little freaked, but will maintain that everything I've reported on our experience is TRUE AND ACCURATE. I'm sorry if Mr. Purifie is giving anyone grief......besides me. In my experience the people who must talk in a threatening manner have done something wrong and are trying to divert......Hence, the threat he put on his original post that was removed. I have the name of an attorney given to me by a friend and will call tomorrow.

You got it Char and I will call this guy tomorrow and see what he has to say. I do have that post also in my email and can act as a witness. What I am going to do is give him the option to tell his side of the story and give him the option to try and rectify the situation.

Frankly I suspect he is a little to illiterate and challenged to do either.

Yes....he may feel as free as I do to relay his side of the story. Perhaps we can also ask HIM to explain the inflated income, while we're at it. He knows I gave him our paystubs, etc. to document income but then inflated the income by $1500.00 a month on the application. I'd like him to say WHY he did that. Or maybe we can ask him to justify....

Perhaps he can say why he simply refused to acknowledge the emails I sent him asking about the inflated income.

I acknowledge that I did lose my job...twice...thus, putting us behind the proverbial 8-ball. And the lender is not being cooperative with our request for a modification. But Mr. Purifie did not act honestly and we all know that inflating income is a serious problem and occurs all too frequently.

OMG Char are you okay? I was reading this post and gathered that you're having some trouble with your broker....yeah, you need to report this to the authorities. The scary part is that someone drove by your home like that. All I can say is be very careful, you never know how deranged this person/broker may be.

Char, I am telling you: Trust your instincts! Do not live in fear, but be proactive. File a police report and be careful.

There is nothing as dangerous as a predator who has been caught -- no matter the crime, rape, fraud, child abuse -- they will do ANYTHING to preserve a false image of "goodness" -- that is why it is so important to him that everyone ELSE believes that he's a good person.

Think about it, if you know you've done nothing wrong you have the confidence to not go into a frenzy to accuse and blame your would be attackers, succeeding in only making yourself look worst in the process. In all of his responses what he is doing is showing very clearly his character.

And to think this guy is a pastor? Pullllease.
