question about equifirst - Loan Modification Forum

Hi folks-Have a question / equifirst holds my mortgage but ASC is servicing my loan. Trying to find out who the heck equifirst is. I did find some old info on the web that said barclays bought equifirst. Anybody know if this is true, and is anybody having any sucess getting a loan mod with equifirst or baclays. I spoke with them in August about a loan mod but was told to call back in Oct when i did i was told some would call me back but have not heard from anybody yet. I think i am going to call hope now. Thanks in advance for any response.

Hi crnstone,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for joining.................

If you are applying for a modification, you would need to do that through ASC.......
