Our chapter 7 BK went final in 10/09. we stay in our home until about 5/11 but never reafirmed. The short sale on it just went final. We bought/buying another home using owner finance and we have 5 years to get it financed on our own but it would be nice if we dont have to wait till the last minute. Are there any options to refi into a "real" mortgage now? If not now when? We will have about $70k in equity or so if that matters.
