Coldwell banker was discovered in 1906 by a real estate agent named Colbert Coldwell. In 1914, Benjamin Arthur Banker became Coldwell’s partner resulting in the naming of the company becoming Coldwell Banker. From 1925 onward, the company continued to expand and branched into several more offices across the country and word for decades to come. Through out the decades, Coldwell Banker has joined several other organizations such as Sears, Roebuck and Co. and Dean Witter Financial Services Group in business ventures. By the 1990s, Coldwell spread across all 50 states, Puerto Rico and into Canada.

Coldwell Banker is a global wide real estate franchise owned by Realogy. Coldwell Banker is the oldest and longest lasting real estate company in the country. Throughout the country Coldwell has helped millions people achieve the American dream of becoming a homeowner. The company is present in 49 countries, has 3,300 offices worldwide(600 of them outside the US), has 97,000 Sales Associates and Brokers, and 1,074 U.S. Affiliated Companies.
