| Legal Question everyone. I sent out a QWR, based on some of the sample in the forum. I asked for all of the usual and got most of it sent to me. The only other thing I asked IndyMac for was the investor or current note holder. In the return letter I was told " this information is not relevant to the current servicing of the loan" and " repeated requests for this information will not be answered" . They provided a number to call for more info, when I called I was told it is not something i can know Has anybody else asked for, or recieved this information? and would it help to send modification package to these people when found? Thanks for all of the help! |

| Re: Qwr Sent out and Answered.... sort of They are not at liberty to tell you this information...........they have a servicing and pooling agreement with the investors on the loans, and the investors do not work directly with customers................that is what they hire the servicer for. occasionally a rep will tell............but they would be in violation of these agreements............

| Re: Qwr Sent out and Answered.... sort of Hello everybody, I was hung up on again today! All i asked was who would foreclose on me if i got behind. It seems she has the response in the file, because she said the exact same thing as above. Do i just wait to see the name on the lis pendens? i believe my loan has been sold a half dozen times and no body knows who holds the note, only what percentage of my payment each month they get. | Re: Qwr Sent out and Answered.... sort of TILA 1641 (f)(2) .........Upon written request by the obligor, the servicer shall provide the obligor, to the best knowledge of the servicer, with the name, address, and telephone number of the owner of the obligation or the master servicer of the obligation.......... They always seem to provide this information as soon as this request is made in writing |
