Does anyone know what fax number or who I would send the Qualified Written Request to at Washington Mutual? The more I am learning the more I am seeing that there were several laws broken when I did my refi with WAMU. I would love to hire an attorney to do this for me but have not heard back from the ones I have called from this site. I have received unsolicited "ads" in the mail (I'm not 30 days behind until May 1st) with offers to help me with loan modification. I have called a couple of these and they sound like they are good but I don't trust giving them a lot of money and hoping they are good. I am located in Colorado which might be part of the problem as it looks like the attorneys on here only work in California and Florida. Marie |

It is one that I received an unsolicited letter in the mail from so that makes me nervous. Although they are telling me that they have been doing modifications for the last 15 years so I feel a boit better about that. I will be calling them this afternoon to decide for sure whether or not I'm hiring them. I did already check and they are active in CA Bar association. I can't understand how they can work with me in Colorado when the attorney on this site told me they couldn't in Colorado. What questions should I ask this attorney? They are charging me a full house payment which seems like a lot but also seems to be standard. I feel that since I'm sure there are illegal things in our loan it will be worth it - just hope this attorney is good! ALso hope that if tehy get QWR to WAMU asap that WAMU won't be able to report late top credit bureaus! Person at Chase actually told me they would not report 30 days late until May 5th even though it is late on May 1st. Marie |

Qualified Written Request | FHA Loans You would send it to wherever the corporate address is located.........WaMu's corporate address had not changed as far as I was able to tell, if it did, try looking on the statement for an address.
