Need advice re: getting a forensic loan audit

Hi there,
I'm in California. My new situation is that my husband wants to get a forensic loan audit. I was on board for this also, but now I just realized, we did our refi in 2005, so it's been over 3 years. From what I've read you can't pursue a recision after three years, so is it still worth it to get a loan audit. My original thinking was if there were violations it would give us leverage, but since it's been longer than 3 years, does that take away our leverage? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Robin

that would be a great question to go over with the doc auditors..........they do offer free consultation to answer any of the questions that you have up front, and to let you know how they can help with the servicer, before deciding to hire them.

Moe - I've been going into any threads on Loan Audits I can find... clicked on your website's attorney referral, filled in form and it doesn't submit (I've tried Firefox and IE). Called the toll-free number - no one getting back to me yet. I've got a Hawaii condo going to be sold 11/24/09 on foreclosure after they denied great SS cash offer and then denied DIL too. Hawaii can come after me for deficiencies... that's why I'm fighting. I'm in San Diego and desperate for last resort of Forensic Loan Audit. Saw a link of one of the threads for U.S. Loan Auditors... you know anything about them? Getting ready to send copy of Loan Docs to them for my free 'fraud investigation' to see if they'd accept the case. The lead attorney seems reputable. http://members.calbar.ca.gov/search/member_detail.aspx?x=148812
If there's a local reputable, reasonable priced company, I'd obviously rather go with that. PLEASE ADVISE.. URGENT! THANkS!! 310-924-1072 I'm in Murrieta right now!!
