American home mortage nightmare

It has been about 8 months now that we are trying to get the above to lower our rate, we are paying 9% interest and it continues to go up. they keep giving us the run around, we always end up in india talking to people who only interested in us paying off the back payments. we have 2 mortgages, they income properties, we do not have to keep it but we are trying to do the right thing. also we would like to keep it, what can we do? the date of sale is tomorrow 1/5, and we really are trying to get them to work with us. what is our final and last option. we finally have tenants that are ready to move in. for the last 8 months the properties were vacant. any help will be appreciated. is there a person live we can speak to and get this taken care of.

Re: American home mortage nightmare

If you have a sale date of tomorrow.........it may already be too late.....depending on what time the sale is.........most are in the morning.......an attorney might not even be able to postpone the foreclosure with a bk filing that quick........but that is who you would have needed to call.......a bk attorney for an emergency Chapter 13bk stay.

Does your state have redemption rights?

Not their attorney............a bk attorney in your state is who you would have needed to be speaking with..........they would have to file an emergency Chapter 13 BK stay.........and I am not sure that they will be able to file it that quick.......you will need to call them first thing in the morning to find out if that can be done.

The attorney T.D Services co, for AHMS

Has anyone ever got hold of a person there? it is impossible to get hold of anyone, the number for Hopenow as well, one keep getting through to AHMS and you cannot get a live person. How are they willing to work with any one if they dont answer. The only people that answer is if you call the number from the mortgage statement, we get hold of India, and they are only interested in the outstanding monies, nothing else. What a mess!!!! Anyone with information will help. I called Jeanne Drake-Direct phone line 949-784-6011, she is away and I left a message, I then called Mike on ext. 6198 he is out until Friday.

you have an emergency and you need to call a bk attorney.........you can not waist time trying to get ahold of someone at AHMSI...........if your sale is today.

Re: American home mortage nightmare

i have not filed for bk and when i got throuh to ondia on friday, hey told me the sale date is 1/5, when i spoke to another person they said they dont know if it is in the process yet, i have various conflict information from Sunny (ID#RSK) and Rachna (ID#NRS) they are both in India. I need to find concrete info to be able to move forward, just want to know how on earth does anyone deal with this mess of no helpers! They tell us to get the information from the nearest Realtor.

Re: American home mortage nightmare

The only way that you will be able to clarify anything to do with a foreclosure sale date is to call the county in which the sale is to take place and ask them if they have a date for your property...........they have all of the records at the county..........usually with the public trustee's office.
