AHMSI Help Needed

I am new to this, and is so glad to have to found this site. We received a yellow post card in the mail the other day and we contacted them but in back of my mind I had a hunch, i think my hunch was right. They wanted us to send all that information over to them but call to let them know it was coming ( like they are sharing a fax with another company or something). They say they work with AHMSI, but anyone can say that. I had my paperwork ready to fax, but have decided not to, after trying to call them back and not getting an answer, thats when i became suspicious. So in turn i have found this site, and I will get my hardship letter together along with the other paperwork. But i just want to ask, Who is Jeanne and Jim? Do they work for loansafe or AHMSI? Are they lawyers or just advice people. I see they try to help us out. Thank you

Welcome to the forum and thank you for joining..............

Please do not call or give any personal information based off of any mailers and postcards that you get at this time..........they are all scamming and phishing for business........
anything that is going to come directly from AHMSI will not be in postcard form..........and if you get something that claims to be from AHMSI......then call the AHMSI number directly off of your statement to verify.

Thank you so very much! I think the more I am on the computer and that seems to be 80% of my day. I find it to be my solice and helper in finding the scammers. I usually look up anyone unsure via the BBB.com and put the phone number in. I got smarter the second time around when i punched in the phone number and all these crazy numbers came up, thats when i realized and of course calling them back, no one was answering. I'm glad I never faxed over my paperwork. For once, I did it right. And again, I'm so glad to find this site too. I have to do the hardship letter and fax in my info to a Jeanne and Jim as I have received off your site. Also thank you, it's nice to get a name other than someone from India. I really hate to answer the phone when AHMSI calls, because it's always someone from India who I can hardly understand and their immediate question is on what account can we process your payment for today. ugh! so thank you, i will probably post my hardship letter to the group at the forum you have to get some input and of course my 100% ok to fax. Thank you

*** is so right!!!!! (as usual) LOL The only other advice I can give you is to make sure you follow up after you fax your info to Jeanne and Jim and be nice but persistent!

We got a call within 12 hours of faxing our hardship letter. If you want a copy of mine as an example just let me know. Although I think there are some excellent ones on this sight already. I don't even answer my phone. I have actually turned off my ringer. Good Luck this website has been a life saver for me too. Without I would have never known where to start.
