Any Light to Come for Conventional Loans with Well Fargo???

It's hard to keep up with all the changes in references to mortgages and I just heard about some change they are making to FHA loans. There are some successful stories out there. However, is there any light for owners of conventional loans with America's Servicing Company/Wells Fargo??? My family and I, like many others, are upside down but are struggling to maintain stability. ASC a few months ago slightly modified our loan to a fixed rate but it is still very high. We are hoping that there's some aid coming to us in these situations that will buy out the investors and modify people's loans down to market value. Any such help of any kind coming our way soon as we are underwater and are slowly drowning in this economy? Any information will help us to determine whether we should continue to stay in our home or just get out while we still can.

Thanks for coming to the forum and posting! Youre in the same boat as alot of others, and all our info is changed each day!

*** or Moe will be by as soon as they can to give you some answers/direction. Prof. Shays has some excellent info on deciding to walk away or not in the "walking away" thread of the forum, you may want to start doing some research there.
