AHMSI Short sale

We are getting ready to submit an offer for a short sale. I have all the information toghether they told me to have when we fax it over. My question is this: Has anyone gotten a specific name and number to send it to? I'm afraid that I will fax it over and it will get lost somewhere in their office like the other 12 faxes I've sent in the last two weeks. I'm hoping the short sale will go smoothly. We are not upside down in the house but in order to get it sold we had to lower the house price $25,000 below our original asking price. So we have an offer and are hoping it will go smoothly!!

You're welcome chefcarrie.......Also, just a suggestion...when you fax it, fax it two times. Wait one day and call the next to ensure they received it. I was told numerous times when I called that they had not received it and by that they mean it takes 24 to 48 hrs before being scanned into your file.

Be persistant but by all means be very polite :-)

My first post to the Forum so I am relieved to read your posts. THANKS. I am also trying to work something out with AHMSI since July. Already denied once for lack of sufficient income. Refaxed and call often but no response. Will try again tomorrow. I will be persistent and keep you posted.
