Omg i want to scream!!!!!
We are behind on our mortgage payments I have been fighting for a modification for a 2 and 1/2 years if not longer.. I have a file about 10 inches with updated paperwork. I have sent everything necessary in 30 + times I have even vidio taped me putting each document in an envelope putting the envelope in the ups and then faxing all the info and they still not receive it.. REALLY. Finallly after all of that I finally got a person who spoke english to talk to me and we got everything in and then before the holidays we were denied because,,, it was not benieicial for the the owner of my loan
(American Home Mortgage servicing) to modiify it would be better to forclose. Andrea called me to tell me and we talked she told me that we only missed it by a few hundred $. They did not inculde my income since my husband is the only one on the note. So we reapplied.. Got all the paperwork in and we should be over the income with out a problem however we got assigned a new neg. and she is telling me that Andrea lied and the NPV may still come back neg and even though we are approved to get the 31% income... It may still not be profitable for them to modify. She can not tell me how this is calculated and what if anything I can do to change the numbers there.. Can anybody tell me how to make this number positive?? or how they calculate it??

why would you videotape yourself putting papers in an envelope?
sorry to hear about your mortgage problems, I've found AHMSI to be more helpful within the last few months. Keep at it, be persistent but polite with them and keep trying. Have you thought of trying a short sale?
