Title kind of says it all. I was wondering if anyone has had any success with a balance reduction from AHMS. If so could you share some tips and contact info. House is in Southern CA. Also does Andrea Plum still work for AHMS? She handled my modification in 2009 and would really like to go through her if possible. Thanks in advance for all the help.-geoff
Hi geoff,
If you are referring to your first mortgage, the HAMP modification PRA (Principal Reduction Alternative) is a part of the modification process that began October 1, 2010 that roughly three members here on LoanSafe have received as a part of the modification process. Principal reduction isn't something that the investors are doing.
Not sure about Andrea, perhaps other members that have worked with her will chime in as well.
