I just completed my move and I am now spent. I ended up paying about $665 (including tip) to move from a 1600 sqft house to a 750 sqft apartment. The move went well and my meeting with the investors went well too. They were all so nice. I ended up getting $2200 cash for keys since I moved out 4 days earlier than originally planned. The investors told me that there had been a bidding war on my house since it is in a good neighborhood. The investors gave me a cashiers check from Wells Fargo (oh, the irony), but I am assuming it is good. My neighbor called me tonight to let me know they are actually painting the place tonight. Wow, the investors really work fast. I think they are going to make a nice profit on my house. This whole experience has been relatively easy, but I did break down and cry as my house was emptied of furniture today. This whole process was mentally difficult, but I am glad I did it.
