Well I got my mod...yeah......problem is it's not much different from the original terms.It starts with 6.25 and goes up every year for 4 years to 7.5. My first is now 2947.78 and my second is 997.38 ,actually its $100 more than I started with ,and if I couldn't pay that before well....., it looks like I'm in the same boat again, with holes and slowly filling with water. good news is all the back taxes are paid.....

Hi Christina....

I am so sorry that the mod you got is something you cannot afford. Is there any way you can try to re-negotiate with OOMC/AHMSI? Or is that all they are offering you? On paper the mod looks pretty good as far as the interest rates go.....and it seems like a lot of Option One customers are getting the step modifications.....

I would call them and/or write them and see what more they can do for you.....but every investor is different. It's worth a try.
