AHMSI modification in WA State?

Just wondering if there is anyone out there was has a AHMSI mortgage for property in Washington State and got approved for a loan modification. We did not experience as much a decline in property value as in CA but my husband lost his job and we lost 50% of our income which made staying current on our mortgage inpossible. We submitted our HAMP paperwork and just hope we get approved. I don't know what else to do if it gets declined. Can you try and appeal? Just looking for some feedback from borrowers in our situation.

Thank you again Loansafe for this forum.....I am learning so much about the whole modification process. I wished I checked you guys out BEFORE I submitted my HAMP paperwork so I can make sure I followed all the tips.
