We had called daily for over a week to get an ACCURATE number to send the fax to and finally recieved a call from a friendly young lady named Valerie. she provided us with a fax number to send to but we started calling this monday to just verify that the fax had been recieved and five days and about 6-7 voice mails later no return call. We are worried that the run around is starting whereby we are told it wasn't recieved. Anyone have aa address to send the package to so I can send certified mail and know that it has been recieved? Thanks for any help. |

All a rep does is look in the computer to see if your info has been entered. Often they are so backlogged that the entry takes a while. I honestly would not panic at this point... I know how hard it is to wait and see what happens next, we have been going through this since March '09 (I suppose less time than some on this forum!?) Hang in there!!! |

I will help you find it if you let me know who your servicer is. I called three times a day, five days a week. I have cut back now that I have been in this process since March. However, in the beginning, it was necessary for me to call that many times because no "negotiator aka employee" was assigned to my file. Post your servicer and let's see what we can do to help you. Hang on. This is a long ride. Many people here will help. |

Ok with that being said call 800-505-3706 this is the HPO (Home preservation office for AHMSI) they should be able to see if your doc's are there. Do NOT call regular CS, they really are clueless in the matter. I would still call Ms Drakes office, as well and leave a message daily regarding your status. We need to remember that they are getting flooded w/people trying to to do the HAMP as well. Faxing is the best way to get them there (in my opinion) what fax # do you have? I faxed our's to 1-866-452-1837. Good luck! |

Then after a week or so i got a letter saying that they got the info, but they were missing these things. So i faxed this about 4 times. Then I emailed Mrs Drakes Office and sat back and waited. In about 10 days I saw that my email was read by Mrs Drake and then about two days later got a call from her office giving me the name of the lady handling my account and to give her a week and it all should be done. So i waited about 10 days and then i start calling her and left her a meassage and after my second phone call I got an email form my rep. Telling me the detail on my mod. (a HAMP) and I should have the final approval by Friday (today). So at lunch today I got an Email saying that is was Approved and I should be getting the paper work next week. the fax number I used was - 1-866-452-1837. My rep was very promp answering my emails. I think with volume of calls they are getting is that this is the best way to communicate with them. Also, my rep told me today that the volume of Mods is slowing down a lot and they have more time to answer questions in a timely manner. The first time I called her I left my email address as well as a phone number. So do not worry if you have not heard anything from them. Remember "No news is good news" I started in July. So keep your head up!!!! |
