My Phone Has Not Even Rung...5 Weeks???

5 weeks ago I sent my information to NACA. I did not make my September payment, and the day after I sent the info through the NACA website I never received another telephone call asking for money. Three weeks ago I sent all of my paperwork to Jeanne Drake's office. I have fax confirmation that it was sent and received by her fax number. Still nothing??? No telephone call, no letter, nothing! Should I call and ask what is going on? Something has happened or they wouldn't have stopped calling and asking for money since they started doing that every month on the 2nd when my payments were late. Last September they reset my adjustable rate back to it's starting point of 6.999% for 5 years, and now with my income down 40% I have asked for ANY program that would make my payments manageable. Any thoughts?

I believe they stopped calling you because you are now working with NACA on the modification. Once you sign up with NACA your lender will keep in touch with them..

I agree..I received a loan modification throug AHMSI. I didn't go through NACA but as soon as my loan modification paperwork was received by them I did not receive any calls.

I only spoke to my negotiator once and that was me calling him to make sure that he received my paperwork. After that i just received the mod via UPS.

You need to contact NACA!! At least to just get an update and to make sure you didn't "get lost" in the shuffle. Keep us posted

Thank you for your replies! From the time I contacted NACA and the time I submitted my paper work directly to Jeanne Drake's office, I lost another 30% of my income to another pay cut. So I did submit different info to AHMSI than I did NACA originally. So, I guess I should contact NACA and give them the "new" information???

Yes you need to contact NACA asap and give them that info..
