I submitted my packet in August....didn't hear anything for 2 months....called and emailed last week to Jeanne Drake's office and they got a supervisor who pulled my modification from the original negotiator and he submitted me within 2 hours. I missed a call from them on Friday but just heard today that I got a HAMP......am very thankful to Jeanne Drake's office who made it a higher profile and Thank you so much for this group.... Also....he said that the letter I got yesterday saying that my HAMP packet was never received and to send again.....those are going out to many people and not accurate letters. So ignore these letters and really faxing in the docs is the best as they go right into the computer system. He also said they are putting these HAMP's through and making permanent in the end if we all do our part....payments on time, additional documents, etc. He said that they will get penalized as a company way more if they don't do their part. So....I believe they really do want to help us....... Thank you .....thank you! Hang in there everyone.....and remember you get more honey with sugar.....so be nice! :-) |

I also believe this Hamp program created 2 seperate entities in terms of getting your paper work and request noticed. If you notice the Hamp package goes to one address and the info package for Jeanne Drake and staff goes to another address. All in all I had a great experience back in Nov 08 dealing with Jeanne Drake and her staff. My traditional mortgage mod was approved in less then 3 weeks with great communication by her department. Now however trying to get a Hamp mod is not so easy. Three different people have called requesting doc's. I send them and each time someone else calls. Also the people in the Hamp dept will not give me a last name. Its like, I am Molly. Hi Molly, what is your last name, for my records? Oh Mr.Acesfull I can only give you my employee id. Molly NN. So my point is Jeanne Drakes office is great but the jury is still out on the Hamp department people until they show me other wise. Good Luck to all. Acesfull |

I found out his last name via this site (b/c I saw the extention posted and that person had his last name too) He did give me his email address and he is quick to respond to any question or concern I have. I am trying to only bother him once a week for an update. I don't want anything to get missed on my end. As far as dealing with the India office, I simply ask to please be transfered to the US and I don't usually have any issues. Yes they do try to get me to verify my info with them, but I am polite and tell them I will complete every thing with the US rep. They transfer with no issue. I have found that it does get you farther if you are polite, but I know that isn't alway's easy esp when you have been on dead end after dead end. Good luck to us all!!! |
