They (lender's/Gov) need to come up with a way to find out who the investor is so that way when all of your info is inputted into their computer you could find out right then and there IF you will be approved or denied for a final modification. It doesn't make any sense to string people along and then at the end deny anyway. Oh well just a thought.

It makes perfect sense to the bankers and investors. They string you along and get more money out of you, plus the house, plus the tax write-off for the business loss.
