Angry Modification Question

So here is what is going on. Last Friday I got a call from AHMSI telling me that they didnt get my payment. This was confusing to me since I am on a bi-weekly system and they transfer the funds every month for over 3 years and never had an issue. Well they tried to transfer the funds on 10/2 and it was rejected from AHMSI because they turned off my electronic transfer capabilities. Here is where the confusion comes in. They turned this off on September 10 because I am under the making homes affordable program. But I didnt send in my documents to them until Oct 5th not knowing if I really wanted to do this with them. So why would they turn this off without any notification to me that they are doing this. To top it off I can not get ahold of anyone but the CS team and they dont know anything. I had to have the bi weekly people send me back my payment so that I can then have them do a check by phone. By the way told them I will not pay for a late fee or for a check by phone since it was their fault.. but wouldnt they want to still get the money while they are working on the modification?

Also how do I get into contact with my person that is doing the Mod. No one will call me back?

Please let me know what I can do.

D

Re: Modification Question

Question, are you in the trial period for the HAMP? If you are you can NOT do a check by phone for payment it has to be via Western Union, Moneygram, or certified check. It MUST be that way for all payment's while in the trial period. You can pay early, but it MUST be made by the 1st or you can be terminated from the program. This is what I was told by our negotiator, CS told be just the first payment had to be made that way (and I almost believed them) that is not the case. I am planning on WU each and everytime while in the trial period.

Re: Modification Question

Not in a trail period yet... havent seen anything about being in the trail period.

I dont mind if I am in trail that I have to send the payments to them by the 1st but I am no where near that.
